Vetting
Olympia International Art & Antiques Fair is a dateline fair, with datelines as detailed below. However, a limited number of stands will be made available to dealers specifically invited to exhibit items outside the datelines. All items will be original works of art designed in the period of their manufacture and of the highest quality - the same quality standards will apply equally to the contemporary and the antique. A specific guide to what the Vetting Committee will find acceptable is detailed in the full version of the Vetting Regulations. A copy of the Vetting Regulations for this fair can be obtained by emailing kate.dilnott-cooper@clarionevents.com
Authenticity
Every item for sale at the Olympia International Art & Antiques Fair is vetted for authenticity, date and condition - the details given on each item's label are also checked. Once the fair has started, sold stock is replaced daily and fresh items are vetted before each morning's 11.00am opening. This process is carried out by a team of about two hundred experts drawn the UK, Europe and the USA - they are dealers (some exhibiting and some not), museum curators, restorers and auction house specialists - split into 35 Committees.
