On Thursday 11 October 2007 Clarion Arts announced that the Summer Fair will be renamed as Olympia International Art & Antiques Fair as chosen by Clarion’s newly appointed Summer Management Board. The fair will continue to run form the 5-15th June 2008 and will open at 11am on Thursday 5th June with a private view from 6-9pm. The Board, formed from exhibitors from Clarion’s flagship annual art and antiques event in June, now have responsibility for making executive decisions regarding the strategic development of the event.
Clarion Event’s vision for the Summer Fair, Olympia is for it to become the focus of the art and antiques market in London in June. The new Management Board will assist in achieving this vision by developing and deciding on key aspects of the fair, including marketing strategy, design, vetting and stand allocations. Committees will be formed by Board members to consider specific issues in more depth and using wider industry involvement.
