Floris became part of the family-run business Vanderven and Vanderven Oriental Art in 1993. The company is based in the medieval town centre of 's Hertogenbosch and specialises in Asian art with an emphasis on Chinese export porcelain and occasionally Chinese porcelain made in the Chinese taste dating from the 17th and 18th century and early terracotta.
